Department of Nano and Thin film Materials

Our department provides students with fundamental skills and knowledge about:
- synthesizing nanostructured materials
- manufacturing components and devices
- analyzing the microstructure, morphology and properties of materials
- application and development in the fields of energy storage and conversion, semiconductor opto-electronic components, sensors, and processing. environmental management and smart devices.

Combining (i) theoretical learning in the classroom, (ii) practicing in the laboratory with practical approaches, and (iii) participating in research projects will help students firmly equip many important skills (such as working individually. , teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking and lifelong learning).

After graduating, students can work in positions in research and development (R&D) sectors, product quality analysis/testing, production management, technical in charge... in manufacturing companies and enterprises, who work on manufacturing and distributing nano materials, semiconductors, alloys, ceramics, composites... Besides, students can continue their postgraduate studies and work at universities, institutes, and research centers in the field of materials science, technology, and engineering.
